Jennings: Funeral services will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jennings, LA on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 @ 10 AM honoring the life of Eurella Marie LeJeune, 82, who was called to her Heavenly Father April 16, 2012. Mrs. LeJeune will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery. Deacon Mike Tramel will be officiating her services.
Eurella Marie was born on November 19, 1929 in Church Point, LA to the late Adrus Hebert and the late Josephine Meche Hebert. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to the care of her family. She enjoyed growing flowers, cooking, and baking, especially cakes. She also enjoyed watching soap operas. Eurella is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years Louis Agesson LeJeune, her son Wayne LeJeune, and one daughter Veronica Marie Amie (Dennis J.) all of Jennings. She also leaves behind to cherish her memory three sisters Merrita Richard of Rayne, Anna Mae Cahanin, and Dora Doucet of Hathaway.
Eurella now rests in heaven with her beloved family whom preceded her in death: her parents, Adrus and Josephine M. Hebert; four brothers, Elie Hebert, Edward Hebert, Eddie Hebert, and Adam Hebert; and one baby sister, Anna Mae Hebert.
Carrying Eurella to her eternal resting place in Greenwood Cemetery will be Wayne L. LeJeune, Randy Hebert, Russell Dale Doucet, Kurt Ray Doucet, Roger LeJeune, and David Gaspard. Honorary pallbearers will be J.D. LeJeune, Dennis Amie, and Jr. LeJeune.
Visitation will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home in Jennings, LA on Tuesday, April 17th from 2:30 PM until 9 PM with a rosary recited by Deacon Tramel at 6:30 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday at 8 AM until the time of her services.
