Jennings: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Louis Agesson LeJeune, 88 of Jennings, LA will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at 10:00 AM with Father Charles McMillin officiating. Visitation will be held at Matthews & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 21st from 3:30 PM until 10:00 PM with a rosary recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, April 22nd at 8:00 AM until the time of his Mass
.. Louis will be laid to rest in Greenwood Cemetery.

Louis was born in Iota, LA on February 13, 1927 to the late Tobert LeJeune and the late Laura Veronie LeJeune. He was called to his Heavenly Father on April 19, 2015. Louis worked as an Air Conditioner Tech. He loved to be outdoors, hunting and fishing. Louis also enjoyed French Music, Country Music and reading about history. Louis was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Louis is survived by one son, Wayne Louis LeJeune of Jennings, LA; one daughter, Veronica (Dennis) Amie of Jennings, LA.

Louis was welcomed into Heaven by the family whom preceded him in death; his parents, Tobert and Laura LeJeune; his beloved wife of 65 years, Eurella Marie Hebert LeJeune; four brothers, Aluis Joseph Lejeune, Sr (Ruth Gatte LeJeune), Wesley Lejeune, Wedley Joseph "Uncle Boy" Lejeune, (Lezema Deshotel Lejeune), Floyd Adam Lejeune (Marjorie Benoit Lejeune), Garvin Joseph Lejeune (Louise Slayton Lejeune); three sisters, Elrena "Tante Fee" Lejeune Courville (Joe), Esther Lejeune Bergeron (Philip), Mae Nora Lejeune.

Carrying Louis to his eternal resting place in Greenwood Cemetery will be Wayne Louis LeJeune, Curt Doucet, Kelly Hebert, Randy Hebert, Paul Richy and James Miller. Honorary pallbearers are Kenny Hebert, Terrell Gotreaux and Terry Guillory.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Matthews & Son Funeral Home.
