Anona's mother died in 1908 and she was raised entirely by her father Columbus and his second wife (1912) Addie Bell Kephart Stafford Owens.
On 14 Feb 1922, at Belleville, Republic Co.,KS, Anona married Archie Irwin Milner (55147667)(8 Apr 1904 Republic City, Republic CO., KS - 25 Mar 1971 Belleville, Republic Co., KS). He was the son of Robert George Milner (55147645) and Maude Viola Stafford (55147652).
Nine children were born to this union: Dorothy Elizabeth, Lewis Gene, Shirley Arlene, Dale, Betty, Pamela Sue, Barbara Carol, Jackie Lee and Norma Joy.
Anona passed away 13 Nov 1985 at Belleville, Republic Co., KS. She is buried and Washington Cemetery at Bellevile near her father. Archie is buried near his father at Liberty Cemetery also in Republic Co., KS.
