Mr. Henry as born in Scott County on Sept 23, 1829 and came with his parents to this county. In 1858 he married Miss Sallie Buckner, who died three years ago. They lived in Erlanger, Ky., and Mr. Henry in the famous legislature that seated Gov. Goebel represented Kenton County in the House.
His health had been poor for several years and recently he became totally blind. The immediate cause of death was pneumonia.
Stephen’s only son, Jack C.Henry, died in 1893. His only daughter is the wife of Rev. T.S. Potts, Baptist minister of Memphis, Tenn.
Mr. Henry was a brother of Mrs. S.H. Berbridge and had many other relatives in this county. Mr. A. M. Henry, of Newstead, is a nephew.
