Miss Mary M. Tilger, 81, a native of Calumet County, died Nov. 21, at the Joseph Mallmann home, Route 4, Chilton, where she had resided for many years. She had been ill for a week.

A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Tilger, she was born in the town of Rantoul, Calumet County, Dec. 4, 1875. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School in Chilton.

Miss Tilger, who never married is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Anna Lodes, Mich.; Mrs. Rose Noll, Milwaukee; Mrs. Theresa Tremmel, Marshfield, and Mrs. Barbara Tyson, Manitowoc.

Services were held at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Chilton. The Rev. Joseph Bartelme, pastor, was the celebrant of the requiem Mass. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
