Vera Schulte Parker ,74,of Crosby passed away on Monday, July 15, 2002. She was born May 15, 1928 in Halletsville to Emil J. and Minnie Mueller Schulte.She had one sister, Iona Mae, a twin brother, Vestine and younger brother Melvin. She married Henry Weeke Parker December 24, 1950 in Crosby. They had five children: Vernon, Jeanette, Nancy, Peggy and Terry.
Vera was a LVN and worked in Baytown and Dayton nursing homes and as a in home nurse. She enjoyed sewing, baking, going to flea markets,horses and taking care of stray dogs. Her biggest joy comes from spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Iona Mae Schulte.
