Obie Coomer, age 91 years of Rice Dr., Columbia, KY passed away Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008 at 12:30 P. M. at Campbellsville Retirement Home in Campbellsville, KY.
He was the son of the late Lonnie and Kate Stevens Coomer of Adair County and was preceded in death by his wife Lula Coomer and later married Maxine Coomer who also preceded him in death.
He is survived by two sons: Obie Coomer and his wife, Judy, of Sarasota, Florida and Danny Coomer of Dayton, Ohio; two grandchildren: Debra Ohler and Jeff Coomer, 3 Great Grandchildren: Zachary Coomer, Danielle Coomer and Cheney Ohler; special friend: Polly Banks of Columbia, KY, several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives friends survive.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and retired Plant manager in Chicago, IL.

Interment in Columbia Cemetery.
