Funeral services were held February 23, 1984 at 2 p.m. at Mccreary County Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Whithead, Rev. David Troxell and Rev. Randall Brown officiating. Burial was in Upper Cal Hill Cemetery.
He was born March 13, 1937 in Mccreary County, Ky. to John H. Perry and the late Dealie Mae Taylor Perry. He lived here his lifetime and was employed at Kingford Charcoal Plant, Burnside, Ky. He was married to Jessie M. Eldridge on September 27, 1958. He was a member of Hilltop Baptist Church. Preceding him in death are his mother; a son Timothy Roscoe Perry; a brother Fred Perry and three sisters; Jessie Perry, Tavie Stephens,& Mary Edith Bryant.
Survivors include his wife Jessie Eldridge Perry Of Pine Knot, KY. His father John H. Perry. Pine Knot, KY; his children Elvena Marie, Marvin Estle, Sandra Lou, & James Doyle Perry all of Pine Knot, Ky. and Vicky Carlene Clark of Fort Knox, KY. Two grand daughters Santana Angel & Jessica Carlene Clark both of Fort Knox, Ky. and a son-in-law Tommy Mitchell Clark of Fort Knox, KY.; Tow brothers Eugene Perry and Nathan Perry both of Pine Knot, KY; Three sisters Bonnie & Helen Perry both of Pine Knot, KY and Agnes Bryant of Whitley City, KY.
