She is thought to be full blooded Cherokee Indian. She is wife of James Russell Broadhead.

Lucretia Pearson was the daughter of Nathan and Theire Wilson Pearson. The Pearson ancestry can be traced to 1647 in Cumberlandshire England. I have found no evidence Lucretia or any of the Pearsons had Native American ancestry. I am Lucretia's ggg-granddauther and have just had 23andme test my DNA. I have absolutely no Native American DNA.
