CAROLYN (RUSSELL/ISENBERG) MASON
Of 408 W. 2nd Street, Williamsburg died at 4:30 a.m. today, April 15, 1970, in Altoona Hospital, where she was admitted March 2, after a brief illness. She was born in Martinsburg Jan. 18, 1897, daughter of Andrew I. and Carolyn (Stoner) Russell, and was twice married, first on June 26, 1919, to Orville J. Isenberg, who died Nov. 28, 1937, and on Aug. 6, 1955, to Burt J. Mason.
Surviving are her husband, three children, Juette 0. of Williamsburg, Mrs. Ailene Delich of Williamsburg RD 2 and Janice M., at home; a step-son, Daniel B. Mason of Olympia Fields, Ill; seven grandchildren and six brothers and sisters, Rebecca of Hollidaysburg RD, John of Williamsburg, Howard and Chester of Orlando, Fla., and Lloyd and Mrs. Elizabeth Hammond of Akron, Ohio.
Mrs. Mason was a member of the Williamsburg Church of the Brethren and Gleaners Bible Class and was a charter member of the Williamsburg Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.
Friends will be received in the Friedline Funeral Home, Williamsburg, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday.
MASON – Services for Mrs. Carolyn R. Mason of 408 W. 2nd Street, Williamsburg, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Friedline Funeral Home, Williamsburg, by the Rev. LeRoy Dick. Interment in Presbyterian Cemetery, Williamsburg. Friends will be received in the funeral home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday.
