JoAnn's life began on July 19, 1943 in Dowagiac, the daughter of George B. and Mary Jane (Weiland) Schuur. She was united in marriage to Clifton Gordon on June 4, 1963 in Saint Joseph, MI. JoAnn was a member of the First Christian Church in Dowagiac.
Her loving family includes her husband Clifton Gordon of Dowagiac, daughter Jane (Tom ) Przybylinski of Dowagiac, grandchildren Jacob, Kalob, and Camron Przybylinski, sister Janet Peck of Cassopolis, brothers Bob (Donna) Schuur, Ronald Schuur, David (Nanette) Schuur, George Schuur and Bill (Vickie) Schuur, all of Dowagiac and several nieces and nephews.
JoAnn passed away on Friday April 27, 2012 at Kindred Hospital in Mishawaka. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Linda Hyatt. Her family will gather with friends at 3p.m. on Monday April 30, 2012 at Riverside Cemetery in Dowagiac for a graveside services led by Pastor Jon DenHouter of First Christian Church.
