Carolyn "Cary" Greco, "Our beloved angel", left this world on June 22, 1997. She was taken swiftly by heart failure. She is with our Lord now, whom she prepared a lifetime to meet.
Cary was born July 15, 1940 in Salt Lake City to Bernal and Marie Perkins. She married Ronald "Buddy" Greco, February 14, 1959. They resided in Salt Lake City their entire lives. Cary was an extraordinary wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She devoted her life to her husband and our Lord, Jesus Christ. Cary was an active member of the Catholic community and Church, serving many positions for them throughout her life including teaching the Catholic faith for over 10 years. Cary's greatest pleasures were her devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, traveling, being with her family and friends and raising her children with love and tenderness.
Cary will be dearly missed by all who had their lives touched by her.
Survived by her husband, Buddy Greco; sisters, Catherine Jorgensen and Marie Holmes; children, David and Ronda Greco, Tony Greco, Tracee and Joseph Rotzler; grandchildren, David, Joshua, Kandi and Pennie. Preceded in death by her parents.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, 10 a.m., at St. Martin DePorres Catholic Church, 4914 So. 2200 West. A Vigil Service will be held Thursday 7 p.m. also at the Church, where friends may visit Thursday, 6-7 p.m. Committal Service, Redwood Memorial Estates Cemetery, 6500 So. Redwood Road.
