Services for Clovis R. Hester will be Tuesday in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Hester, 87, died Saturday, March 29, 1997, in a local hospital. He was a retired fireman from the Armstrong Cork Company and was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Florence P. Hester; children, Kenneth L. Hester, Steve Hester and Jeanette LaPratt, all of Macon; brother and sisters, Morris Hester of Tuscumbia, Alabama, Eva Kirkley, Marie Bragwell and Ima Glasgow, all of Russellville, Alabama, Ola Black of Fort McCoy, Florida, and Florence Holcomb of Jackson, Mississippi; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
Honorary pallbearers will be Donald Hester, Greg Hester, Andy Hester and John LaPratt.
