Alice McCullough was born Nov. 19, 1870 in rural Cropsey, IL., the daughter of Clark and Charlotte Duggan McCullough. She grew up in that area and married Joseph Blundy Feb. 23, 1891 at Fairbury. After their marriage, they farmed in Fairbury and Roberts. IL. In 1895, they moved to Reynolds, Ind., and came to Genoa in 1905. Her husband preceded her in death in 1918.
