Last Rites For Jessie Jennings Are Wednesday
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 18 from the Baker Funeral Home for Jessie Jennings, who died at 2 a.m. Tuesday July 17, at the Nixon Nursing Home in Nixon.
Rev. George Schultz Jr. will officiate at the last rites. Interment will be in the City cemetery.
Mr. Jennings farmed for many years. He was a jailer in the Gonzales county jail in the 1930's.
He was born May 16, 1875 in Centralia, Missouri, to Thomas Jennings and Sarah O'Neal Jennings , both of Missouri. Mr. Jennings had resided in Gonzales county for about sixty years.
He is survived by one son, Julius Jennings of Victoria; and nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Baptist church.
