Beatrice A. Zdancewic, 94, of Freehold Township, died Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012, at Monmouth Crossing Assisted Living, Freehold Township. She lived in Freehold Township all her life with her late husband, Leon. They spent their summers at their home in Pennsylvania and their winters in Florida. She belonged to the Jensen Beach Garden Club. She was employed in her early years at Fort Monmouth's, Camp Coles. She was also in charge of the Price Control Board in Howell. Bea enjoyed going out to eat and visiting with friends and relatives.

Beatrice is predeceased by her husband, Leon, in 2001; and her brother, Oscar Anderson, in 2003. Since the passing of her husband, she was taken care of by her second cousin and his wife, Miller and Fran Lawrence until moving to assisted living, where she had an excellent care giver, Marie Burton. Bea is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19 at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center St., Freehold. A funeral service will take place 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 20 at the funeral home, followed by interment at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold.
