At 9 o'clock this morning Mrs. Sarah C. Conner, widow of the late William Conner, expired at her residence, on East Spring street, near Ninth, of cancer, aged 65 years. Mrs. Conner was one of the pioneer women of New Albany, her late husband and his family being identified with the earliest day of the city's history. She was the mother of Mr. Charles H. Conner and Mrs. John P. Bentley. - New Albany Daily Ledger-Standard 29 Jul 1881
