Mrs. Frank Ableman, 48, passed away on Friday morning, May 1 at her home in Wells Township following an extended illness. Funeral services were held on Monday, May 4, at 2 p.m. at St. Luke's Evangelical and Reformed Church with the Rev. Kenneth Worthman officiating. Ervin Boelke sang "Beyond The Sunset" and "Softly and Tenderly." Interment was made in the Meadow Ridge Memorial Park in Faribault. The pallbearers were Arthur Degan, Ogden Walstrom, Henry Bongers, Leo Friesen, Francis Stine, and Gerald Bultman. Dorothy Siedschlag was born on Jan. 15, 1911, to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Siedschlag in Cannon City Township, Rice county. She has been a life long resident of this community. She was married to Frank Ableman in Faribault on Nov. 9, 1929. She was a member of St. Luke's Evangelical and Reformed Church and of the Women's Guild of the church. She is survived by her husband; by one daughter, Mrs. Eugene Van Esch (Vivian) of Faribault; by one son, Donald Ableman of Faribault; by three grandchildren; by one sister, Mrs. Leona Gilbertson of Faribault; by three brothers, George Siedschlag of Sommerton, S.D., Fred of Faribault and Robert of St. Cloud; by her mother, Mrs. Amelia Siedschlag of Faribault. Relatives and friends attended the funeral from St. Cloud, Morristown, Otisco, St Paul, Minneapolis, Austin, and Northfield.
