Joyce was born April 6, 1946, in Port Angeles, Wash., to Laurence and Lucile Edwards. The family moved to Lewiston in 1948. Joyce attended schools here and in St. Maries, finishing her schooling in Lewiston.
She married Gary Clark in August 1966 in Lewiston. They had three children together: Heidi, Ty, and Heather. She also helped raise Gary's three children: Danny, Terri and Kevin. They raised their family in Lewiston and St. Maries. Gary and Joyce divorced in 1979.
Joyce worked as a bowling alley manager in St. Maries; Libby, Mont.; and Lewiston. Her last employment was as the restaurant manager at Rosauers. She retired when they closed the restaurant.
She was an avid bowler, fisherman, golfer, game player, puzzler, and camper, and she loved to travel with her sister Carol and brother-in-law Gary Walker. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Laurence and Lucile Edwards; and her brother Eddie Edwards.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Malcom's Brower-Wann Funeral Home, 1711 18th St., Lewiston. A gathering of family and friends will follow directly at the Lewiston Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall, 1104 Warner Ave.
