He was born Oct. 5, 1902, in Tolley, to Ignatius and Katherine Zeltinger. He was reared in that area and attended Roosevelt Township School in Renville County. He married Lillian Lundgren June 29, 1925, in Kenmare. They lived and farmed in Roosevelt Township from 1925 to 1929. They moved to Sauk Prairie Township, Ward County, where they continued to farm until moving to Kenmare in 1981. He entered Kenmare Baptist Home in July 1995.
He was a former member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Tolley, and a current member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, Kenmare. He served as Sauk Prairie Township clerk for many years.
Survivors: wife; sons, Frank Jr., Kenmare, Delbert, Minot, Charles, Fargo; daughter, Shirley Nore, Kenmare; 23 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; sisters, Clara Ahmann, Sun City, Ariz., Marie Rabuse, Paola, Kan., Loretta Shores, Veronia, Ore.
Funeral: Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Agnes Catholic Church, Kenmare.
Burial: Church cemetery, in the spring.
Prayer Service: Sunday at 7:30 p.m. in the church.
Visitation: Sunday from 1 to 5:30 p.m. in Thompson-Larson Funeral Home, Kenmare.
