Son of Christian Friedrick Georg and his first wife Christina Schlaufmann (born in Germany and died in Ukraine/Southern Russia). All siblings are half.

HENRY GEORGE
After an illness of several months Henry George died at his home in west Loup City Sunday afternoon, August 6th, at one o'clock, at the advanced age of 76 years and 15 days.
Mr. George was born near Odessa, south Russia, on July 22, 1846. He was married to Marie Gangle [sic] on November 2, 1870. Mr. and Mrs. George came to America November 7th, 1885 settling on a farm near Hampton, Nebraska, and came to Loup City in March, 1886, where they have since made their home.
He is survived by his good wife, six children, three girls and three boys, as follows: Mrs. Marguerite Nicholaus [sic], Mrs. Marie Enderlee [sic], Mrs. Rose Biehl, John, William and Gus all residing in Loup City and vicinity. One son departed this life at the age of 19 years, on July 7, 1897. Mr. George is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was a member of the German Methodist church since early manhood, was a consistent Christian and a good neighbor and friend.
Funeral services were held from the M. E. church Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. E. H. Maynard, assisted by Rev. Thos. Marshall. Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery.
