The funeral for Barbara M. Aaron 63, of Collinwood Court, Collinsville will be conducted at 2p.m. Friday at Stone memorial Christian Church in Collinsville where she was a member. Ministers Lawrence Harris and Gerald Tear will officiate. The family will receive friends at Stone Memorial Christian Church from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today.
Tear will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park.
Aaron, a Martinsville native was born Aug. 30, 1933, a daughter of Lillian Martin Riggs and the late Willie T. Martin.
She died Wednesday, Sept. 11, 1996 at Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County following a lengthy illness.
She was a part-time bookkeeper and clerk.
Surviving in addition to mother of Figsboro, are her husband, Lester G. Aaron Jr. of the home, one daughter, Carolyn Aaron Shively of Bassett, one son, Thomas Aaron of Collinsville, two step-brothers, Bill Riggs of Columbus, Ohio and Bob Riggs of Martinsville, three sisters, Mrs. Zade (Edna) Grindstaff of Snow Creek, Mrs. William (Jean) Gusler of Collinsville and Jane Martin of Roanoke and five grandchildren.
Roselawn Funeral Home charge of arrangements.
