David Sullivan Sr., age 51, passed away May 14, 2012 at his residence in Hominy. David was born Sept. 24, 1960 to Carroll and Pat (Pace) Sullivan in Dumas, Ark.
He attended and graduated from Skiatook Public Schools. David and Mary Heartsill were married Aug. 16, 1980 at Skiatook.
He spent time living in Alabama and in Skiatook, but for the past 16 years in Hominy.
He worked as a truck driver for several years.
David loved to fish, spend time with his grandbabies and loved football. He was an Alabama fan through and through.
He was preceded in death by his father, and his brother Scott.
David is survived by his wife Mary of the home; 3 children, Wilhelmina Jackson and husband Chad, Crystal Sullivan and Sonny Sullivan all of Hominy; 3 grandchildren, Ezavias Jackson, Kayla Nicole Sullivan and Bethany Ann Sullivan; his mother Pat Spurgeon of Barnsdall; 1 sister Linda Hollis and husband Doug of Hominy; and 1 brother Ed Sullivan and wife Karen of Skiatook.
A Graveside service at the A.J. Powell Cemetery Pavilion was held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 17 with Bud Tibbles officiating.
Pallbearers were led by Sonny Sullivan; and they were Keith Hollis, Ed Sullivan, Scotty Sullivan, Bruce Fields, Charles Heartsill and Michael Sullivan. Arrangements were made under the direction of Powell Funeral Home Hominy.
