ABBOTSFORD--Raymond H. Vandehey, 72, Abbotsford, died Monday at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Wausau, where he had been a resident for the past four years. Death was due to heart failure.

Services will be held Thursday at the Polnaszek Funeral Home in Abbotsford and St. Bernard's Catholic Church here. The Rev. Emil Hodnik, pastor will officiate, with burial to follow in the Loyal cemetery.

Mr. Vandehey was born in the town of Beaver, Clark County, January 26, 1901. He attended the former Latarte Elementary School in Beaver township and lived and operated a dairy farm with his parents most of his life. He also worked for the Rice Juice Company, which was owned and operated by his sister and brother-in-law.

Survivors include four brothers, Elmer and James Vandehey, Escanaba, Michigan, and Leonard Vandehey, Auburndale; and three sisters, Mrs. Hazel Rice, Iron Mountain, Michigan, Mrs. Adonis (Margaret) Dalberto, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Noel (Nora) Schnelling, Abbotsford.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
