Charles F. Vandruff, 52, of 2922 Charles St., Wellsburg, died suddenly yesterday while going to work at the Weirton Steel plant.

He was born June 15, 1903, at Piney, W. Va., and was the son of the late William and Hannah M. Eddy Vandruff. He came to Wellsburg in 1941 and had been employed at Weirton Steel for 12 years. He was a member of the Ross Baptist Church.

Two sisters are deceased.
