She was born October 29, 1923, in Monongahela, a daughter of Thomas and Jennie Bautz Baxter.
Mrs. Bozovich was a member of Transfiguration Church.
She was a graduate of Monongahela High School and Douglas School of Business. Mrs. Bozovich was a retired owner of Shop N' Save on Jefferson Avenue, Washington, and formerly was employed at several Bartolotta Shop N' Save Grocery Stores.
She was a member of the GAR and South Franklin Township Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are a daughter, Anna Bozovich of Mesa; two sons, Michael Bozovich and David Bozovich, both of Mesa; three brothers, James Baxter of Victory Hill, Albert Baxter of Monongahela and Thomas Baxter Jr. of New Eagle; five sisters, Colleen Tosi, Ella Mae Good, Catherine Liparulo, Rose Gust and Doris Buell, all of Monongahela; five grandchildren, Michael IV, Benjamin, David Jr., Dustin and Linda Bozovich; and a greatgranddaughter.
Deceased are her husband, Michael Bozovich Jr., who died in 1979; three sisters, Elizabeth Henderson, Eugenia Baxter and Martha Frye; and a brother, Paul Baxter.
BOZOVICH – Friends of Bertha B. Bozovich of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Hoon Street, Monongahela, and Washington, who died Tuesday, February 6, 2001, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday in L.M. Frye Funeral Home Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, February 10, in Transfiguration Church, with the Rev. William Feeney as celebrant. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
