Funeral services for Mrs. Viola Jones Adams, 61, of 4100 Penny st.;, SW, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Emmanuel Church of Christ, Robert Banks officiating.
Mrs. Jones died Sunday night at a local rest home following a long illness.
Surviving are three daughters; Mrs. R. C. Alverson, Union Grove, Mrs. Bob Raines, Huntsville, and Mrs. James Campbell of Birmingham; seven sons, W. C., Joe H., Shelby and J. D., all of Huntsville, Clifford Adams, Decatur, Willie of Birmingham and L. T. Adams Jr., of Birmingham; four sisters, three brothers, 28 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Carlos Smith Jr., Harris Bingham, Sherman Durham, Robert Adcock, Jewel Hosch and Herman Stewart. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. James Jordan and Dr. L. B. Lindsey.
