In the year of 1872 she was married to Jonas Schoonover, who preceded her in death in December 1927. V. of Camp Point, Ill., Mrs. Lizzie Schussele of Burdette, Kansas, Mrs. Mary Hobbs of Amboy, Ill., and Mrs. Laura Sidebottom of Easton.

Mrs. Schoonover had lived all her life in Mason county except for a year or two spent in Kansas. It was while in Kansas that she united with the Christian church to which faith she has remained faithful all her days. While unable to attend a Christian church she has been working with the United Brethren church at Red Oak.

She leaves to mourn their loss, the children above mentioned, one brother, John Bradshaw of Chandlerville, Ill., 21 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren, besides many other relatives and friends.
