A 50-year resident of Port Jervis, she was born in Summitville July 3, 1883. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer R. Lybolt, and widow of John H. Appleyard.
Mrs. Appleyard was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Port Jervis and the Clara Bradley Lodge.
Survivors include a son, Glen E., of Port Jervis; five brothers, Clarence, Everett, Jeremiah, and Arden Lybolt, all of Avoca, Pa., and Raymond Lybolt of Goshen; also three sisters, Miss Adeline Lybolt of Summitville, Mrs. Glen Commings of Milford, Conn., and Mrs. Elizabeth Piggott of Middletown; one granddaughter and nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Carlyle Nelson will conduct funeral services.
Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery, Phillipsport.
