Miss Mary Perdue, a sister of Mrs William H Sebring, wife of Gen. Sebring, the mayor of Jacksonville, died at St Luke's hospital at 2pm yesterday.
She resided with Gen. Sebring's family, and was highly honored and respected by all who knew her, and Mrs Sebring, her only surviving sister or near relative, has the sincere sympathy of the entire community in her bereavement.
Miss Mary Perdue's funeral took place yesterday at 3pm from the Church of the Immaculate Conception. Rev Father Newnan officiated. The interment was made in the family lot in St. Mary's cemetery.
