at Black Earth.

Mrs. John McKenzie was killed by the west-bound passenger train as she was crossing the railroad track near the Black Earth station Monday evening.

-- Annabelle 'Belle' MacKenzie, b. 3 April 1867, Black Earth, Dane co., Wisconsin, d. 26 Oct 1963, Vallejo, Solano, California. She married in 1896 to Francis Edward 'Frank' Ainsworth. He was b. 10 March 1861, in Pierpoint, Ashtabula co. Ohio. He died in 1922, as the result of a fatal accident, when he jumped from a runaway wagon. Their son George McKenzie Ainsworth, having recently finished his degree from Lawrence University at Appleton, was accidently electrocuted whilst working as an electrician for a mining company.

-- George Arthur MacKenzie, b. April 1869 in Blue Mounds, Dane co., Wisconsin. He died in 1918 in Mazomanie, Dane co., Wisconsin. On the 6th Nov 1892, he married Amelia Baldwin Drake. She was b. Jun 1864 in Middleton, Dane co, Wisconsin, and d. in 1930 in Mazomanie, Dane co., Wisconsin.

-- Elmer Ellsworth MacKenzie, b. 11 Jun 1871, Blue Mounds, Dane, Wisconsin, d. 26 Jun 1955 in San Francisco, California. He married Clara W. Meyer, who was b. 11 Jan 1875 in New York. She d. 5 April 1952 in San Francisco, San Francisco, California.
