Gunto, Andrew, "Andy" Jr., 56, of Moundsville, WV, died Monday, September 8, 2008 as a result of a farm accident.
He was born June 4, 1952 in Glen Dale, WV, a son of the late Andy, Sr. and Margaret I. Jefferson Gunto.
Andy was an employee of Consol Energy with 38 years of service. He was an Orthodox Christian by faith. He was a member of the Moundsville Eagles Aerie #499 and the National Rifle Association.
Andy was a loving husband and father. He was an avid hunter who traveled throughout North America pursuing his passion. He also enjoyed farming, and had done so since 1964.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald "Sonny" Robinson and Michael T. Gunto.
Surviving are his wife, Susan K. Gunto; a daughter, Stephanie Dawn Gunto of Lawndale, NC; two sons, Andrew Gunto, III (Vicki) of Durham, NC, and Ryan Shawn Gunto (Donna Cain) of Stanley, NC; two step-daughters, Wende Lightner (Jack) of Shadyside, OH and Angela Corvino of Wheeling; a step-son, Louis Corvino, Jr. of Wheeling; two sisters, Judith Koski (Dale) of Applecreek, OH and Sally McElwee (Zeke) of Cameron; a brother, Larry Goodnight (Carol) of Moundsville; two sisters-in-law, Patricia Robinson of Proctor and Cindy Gunto of Moundsville; two grandchildren, Amy Beth Myers and Dustin Wayne Myers; 10 step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; his special boxer, Gracie.
