Jonathan was one of my high school classmates. I knew him since kindergarten. He even lived in my neighborhood, and his parents still do. Sometimes his mother took me home from kindergarten, and sometimes my mother took him home. We went through elementary, middle and high school together. He was a member of Debate, Spanish Club, Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society and PEAK at Putnam City North High School. He went on to the University of Oklahoma and graduated in 1992. He made the list of Outstanding Achievers in Oklahoma. We would have liked to congratulate him on his accomplishments at our ten-year reunion in 1998, but sadly, he passed away from leukemia just five months before the reunion took place. I've known him longer than any of my other departed classmates, and while we were not significantly close, I remember him as a friendly guy who got along well with everybody. We'll miss you, Jonathan.
