---Death claimed James Monroe Walters, 78, 1027 Fourth Avenue North, at a local hospital Thursday morning. Funeral services will be held in the Rose Room of the Croxford Mortuary at 2:15 Monday afternoon with the Rev. Cecil Ristow officiating. Internment will be in the Highland Cemetery.
---Walters was born Dec. 20, 1865, in Kirksville, Mo and had lived in this county for the last 32 years. He is a retired rancher.
---Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Grace G. Moore, Los Angeles, Calif. and Mrs. J. Beland, Brooklyn, N.Y.; two sons: Russell J. with the armed forces in the Hawaiian Islands and Robert V. Walters, and three grandchildren.
