Ruth Braithwaite Anderson (85) joined in heaven her sweetheart, Robert Kenneth February 28, 2004 after a brief battle with metastatic colon cancer. Ruth, 7th of 9 children, was born October 18, 1918 in Spanish Fork, Utah to John and Elnora Chisholm Brathwaite. Ruth and Bob married April 7, 1942 in Las Vegas, NV and became eternal companions in the Mesa, AZ LDS Temple March 11, 1947. She was a member of the Canyon Rim Ward for 52 years, where she faithfully served our Heavenly Father. She was an active member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, Canyon Rim Camp. Ruth was an accredited and accomplished executive secretary working many years at the U of U Math Department and for several General Authorities of the LDS Church. Mom's greatest love was being with her family and grandchildren who will miss her greatly. Ruth is survived by a brother, Jack (Myrtle) Braithwaite. Her legacy includes six children, Robert, Jr. (JoEllen), Cheryl (Jim) Wilhelm, Brian (Jan), Donna (Chris) Butler, Richard (Deb), Anita (Steve) Hansen; 32 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren. She joins many in heaven including her sweetheart, parents, seven siblings, and a grandson. Services were held Tuesday, March 2, 2004 at the Canyon Rim Stake Center, 3051 So 2900 E. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, Funeral Directors. The Holbrook Mortaury.
