L.D. (Deeper) Gilmore of Quitman died Friday, April 26, at the age of 50 from injuries he sustained in an automobile accident.
He was retired from the General Motors Corp. and was of the Baptist Faith.
Services were held at Flat Rock General Baptist Church with Rev. Fred Oaks officiating. Burial followed in Flat Rock Cemetery.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Daris Gilmore of Flint, Mich, and Richard Gilmore of Quitman; a daughter, Debbie Gilmore of Quitman; four sisters, Betty Bailey of Jacksonville, Carolyn Boquet of Bourg, La., Barbara Clayton of Heber Springs, and Mary Horton of Heber Springs; three brothers, Bill Gilmore of Greers Ferry, Shirl Gilmore of Flint, Mich., and Joe Gilmore of Quitman; and a granddaughter.
