Daniel Arnhold, 76, of Firestone, Colorado, formerly of Hays, Kansas, died November 29, 2007 at Longmont United Hospital in Longmont, Colorado.
He was born April 23, 1931 in Hays, Kansas to Edgar and Beatrice (Karlin) Arnhold.
Daniel served in the US Army from 1952 to 1953 in Okinawa, Japan.
He married Lillian Rose Mermis on October 1, 1951 in Hays, Kansas.
Daniel was a devout and committed Christian who loved his family. Dan enjoyed camping, gardening and working hard. He was employed by Arkansas Best Freight (f/ka Navajo Freight Lines) for 30 plus years before retiring in 1984.
Daniel is survived by his wife Lillian of Firestone, CO; two sons; Dale Arnhold and his wife Sandi of Northglenn, CO, and Rick Arnhold and his wife Andrea of Eagle, CO, two daughters; Cindy Arnhold of Firestone, CO and Audrey Ingram and her husband Craig of Longmont, CO, and three beloved grandchildren; Mack Arnhold, David Ingram, and Maygen Arnhold, brothers, Gary Arnhold and Leroy Arnhold.
He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
Family Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial service at 3:30 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2007 at Hays Memorial Chapel. Cremation Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
