Mrs. Glenn Hurst
Nutter Fort – Iva Maude Hurst, 78, of 216 Coplin Ave., East View, died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, following an extended illness.
She was born Aug. 5, 1901, near Jarvisville, a daughter of the late Edward and Estella Frances Brown Goldsmith. Her husband Glenn D. Hurst died May 1, 1965.
Surviving are one son, Forrest L. Hurst, Indianapolis, Ind.; two daughters, Mary Jo Hurst, at home, Mrs. Otto (Betty) White, Junkins Avenue Extension, Clarksburg; three brothers, Raymond Goldsmith, Salem; Ira Goldsmith, Lumberport, Fred Goldsmith, Ellicott City, MD; two sisters Mae Lowell, Clarksburg; Jean Lamb, San Bernadino, Calif.; one Grandson Lewis R. Cottrill, Orlando, Fla.; two granddaughters, Anna L. Hurst, Leslie J. Hurst, both of Indiana; one great-granddaughter Suzanne J. Cottrill, Orlando.
She was preceded in death by one son Edward Lee Hurst, who died in World War II and by two sisters and one brother.
Mrs. Hurst was a member of the Mt. Olive United Methodist Church at Jarvisville.
