Funeral services for Sam Wallace, 82, of Sugar Land, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday in the Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Sugar Land. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Wallace was dead on arrival at Eldridge Memorial Hospital Sunday.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cornelia Wallace; daughters, Mrs. Classie Blakley, Mrs. Annie Valentine, and Mrs. Vesta Terry, all of Houston; sons, William Wallace of New Orleans and Sam Quinine of Houston; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Sims and Mrs. Mary Joe, both of Houston; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
