He was born in county Donegal, Ireland. Nine children survive him. Steuben Courier - James McBeth and old and respected citizen of Howard, died at his residence in Howard last night. He had been in failing health for some months past. He was born in County Donegal, Ireland April 5, 1816. He was Justice of Peace a number of years and at the time of his death was elder in the U. P. church of Howard. He was the father of 10 children, nine of whom survive him.
