AMENDT—Of Vauxhall, passedaway in Calgary on Thursday,April 4,1968, Joseph, at the
age of 33 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Ann Amendt of Vauxhall. Other survivors—two sons, Wesley and David and one daughter, Sandra, all at home parents, Mr. and Mrs. P e t e r Amendt of Picture Butte; six brothers, Leonard of Baarlo,Holland, Con and Andy of Olgary, John and Jack of Picture Butte, Frank of Hanna; four sisters,Mrs; Roy (Johan) Westhaver, Helen, Pat and Carol, allof Calgary. Bora in Maasbree, Limburg, Holland, November 11, 1934. Received his formal education in Holland before coming to Picture Butte with his parents in 1953. Married the former Ann Vanden Dungen at Picture Butte, on July 27, 1957.
He moved to Vauxhall that same year and worked as a surveyor with the P.F.R.A. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Vauxhal Council No. 4 9 66. Prayers will be said in Humphries Funeral Chapel, Taber, on Sunday, April 7 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted from St. Augustine's Rom an Catholic Church, Taber, on Monday, April 8 with Rev. Father Chiares McLellan officiating. Interment will follow in the Vauxhall Cemetery.. Humphries Funeral Home, Taber, in charge of arrangements.
