Agnes Lipscomb Clark, age 96, of Point Marion, Pa., passed away on Thursday evening, March 12, 2009, in the Uniontown Hospital. Born in West Virginia on March 9, 1913, she was the daughter of Allen Lipscomb and Clara Thomas Lipscomb.
She was predeceased by her husband, William Taft Clark Sr. in 1986, by two sons, Gene Autry Clark and Eugene Robert Clark, a grandson, Montgomery K. Clark, and a brother, Floyd Lipscomb. She is survived by her loving family: children, William T. Clark Jr. and wife Mary of Ohio, Mary Jane Butcher and husband John, and Jack Clark all of Point Marion, Pa.; six grandchildren and spouses: William T. Clark III, "Bobby" Lynn Clark, Christy Clark, Jeffrey S. and Kathy Clark, Carla May and Chad Clark, and John Mark and Monica Butcher; 13 great grand-children: Bindy, BJ, Amanda, Josh, Maegan, Cassandra, Jarred, Jake, Beth, Chad William, and Corey Taft Clark, Johnny Mark Butcher Jr. and Celine Margo Butcher; sister, Mrs. Ed (Opal Colebank) Porter; and by several nieces, nephews and their families.
Agnes was loved and will be missed by many, but she will never be forgotten! Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD Funeral Home, Point Marion, Pa., on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, March 17, 2009, until 1 p.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. John E. Henry officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion, Pennsylvania.
