Mrs. Virginia Frazier, 73, of Florence, passed away June 3, 2012, at her residence.
She was a native of Lauderdale County and a member of Hendrix Chapel Church of Christ.
She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Two of the many loves in her life were her love for quilting and cooking.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Cloverdale Church of Christ. Graveside services will follow at 11 a.m. in the adjoining cemetery. Officiating will be Wayne Wood.
Mrs. Frazier was preceded in death by her father, Willie B. Abernathy; mother, Mary Elizabeth Abernathy; brothers, Eli, Willie Earl and Donnie Abernathy; sisters, Lou Jean Chaney, Mary Ruth Myrick, Helen Liles and Louise Myhan.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Frazier; sons, Michael Frazier (Karon) and Junior Gilchrist (Sally); daughter, Kay Cox (Johnny); brothers, Tommy Lee, Gene and R.H. Abernathy; sister, Betty Marks; grandchildren. Olivia Frazier, Dustin Hayes, Leigh Reynolds and Amanda Bolden; great-grandchildren, Ethan Reynolds, Devin Bolden, Grant Reynolds, Landon Bolden, Clayton Reynolds and Gage Reynolds.
Pallbearers will be Randy Marks, Ronnie Marks, David Liles, Ethan Reynolds, Bobby Dial and Richard Dial.
Special thanks to Hospice of the Tennessee Valley, Meredith, Cindy, Jeff, Sherry, Stephanie, Dana and Dr. Daugherty.
