FORT SCOTT TRIBUNE OBITUARY
MONDAY FEBRUARY 16, 1959


MRS. B.E. GORDON

Mrs. B.E. Gordon (Edith Hall) Gordon, 76, La Grange, Ill., former resident and school teacher, Fort Scott, died Saturday morning at her winter home at Kissimmee, Fla. She is a sister-in-law of Miss Bessie Gordon and Mrs. Virgil Smith, 215 S. Crawford.

Mrs. Gordon was born near Centerville, Kas. She and her husband, B.E. Gordon, taught for a number of years in Fort Scott schools. They left Fort Scott about 1905.

Survivors are her husband and three married sons, John, David and Bob. There are several nieces and nephews in and near Fort Scott. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at La Grange. Burial will be there also.


Miss Bessie Gordon, 215 S. Crawford, left last night on the Frisco for La Grange, Ill., called there on account of the death of her sister-in-law, Mrs. B.E. (Edith) Gordon. Mrs. Gordon died Saturday at her winter home in Florida.
