SKRETTING — Passed away
at Taber, on Saturday, June 10,
Raymond, of Vauxhall at the
age of 41 years. Beloved husband
of Mrs. Violet Skretting
of VauxhalL Also survived by
two sons, Roger and Dennis at
home and one daughter Cathy
at home; his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Erik Skretting of Vauxhall;
two brothers, Harold of Lethbridge
and Edward of Calgary;
one sister, Mrs. Joseph Thelma)
Culver of Retlaw. Mr.
Skretting was born Aug. 29,1925
at Bassano, Alta. He moved to
Vauxhall with his parents in
1937. He received his formal
education in Vauxhall, later attending
the Olds Agricultural
and Calgary Technical schools.
He operated his own farm until
his passing. We was married at
Retlaw October 28,1948. He was
a Deputy Grand Knight of the
Knights of Columbus, Vauxhall
Council and a director of the
Vauxhall Agricultural Society.
Prayers will be said in Humphries
Funeral Chapel, Taber, on
Monday (tonight) at 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted
from St. Augustine's Roman
Catholic Church in Taber
on Tuesday, June 13 at 10 ajn.,
with Rev. Father C. J. Lyons
officiating. Interment will follow
in the Vauxhall Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to
the Heart fund, c-o Humphries
Funeral Home Taber, appreciated.
