Arthur S. (Dick) Bryant, 82, Jefferson City, died Friday at St, Mary's Hospital. He had been a patient in the hospital for several days. Mr. Bryant was born Sept. 17, 1885, in Moniteau County, the son of the late John Wesley and Mary Boyce Bryant. He had made his home in Jefferson City most of his life.
He was a member of the Shilo Christian Church in Moniteau county, and a member of the Laborers International Union of North America.
Mr. Bryant was married April 20, 1920 in Jefferson City to Miss Lucy Lane, who survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Helen Stone, Jefferson City; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Miller, and one half sister, Mrs. Opal Headpass, both of Kansas City; three half brothers, Homer Bryant, Brumley, Hurley Bryant and John Bryant; six grandchildren and one great grandson.
