Funeral Services For Vauxhall Boy Largely Attended
VAUXHALL— (Special) —Funeral services were held from Parkview United Church in Vauxhall Wednesday afternoon for 17-year old Dale Tonge. who died in Taber hospital Monday morning. The young student was the 17-year-old son of Mr.and Mrs. Bert Tonge of New West, passed away in Taber Hospital on Monday. May 17, after a short illness.
He was reported to be suffering from uremia.
The young man was born in New West and lived in the district all his life.
Funeral services were conducted by Miss Winnifred Davis and were in charge of Humphries of Taber. Pallbearers were David Jenkins, David Smith. Lewis Kondor, Lewis Petek. David Lamond and Richard Westwong. The services were well attended by relatives, classmates and friends ' of the youth. There were many floral tributes, and the Parkview United Curch choir sang at the service. Survivors include his parents; four sisters. Shirley, Sharon, Donna and Joan; and two brothers, Harold and Howard. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Humphries' funeral home of Taber, and interment win be Vauxhall cemetery.
