A death announcement was published in The Burlington Free Press (Burlington, Vermont) on March 2, 1883.

Mary's will names her brother, William, as exector. The will directs that after her death, funds from her estate be used to move their parents, brother and sister from Locust Street Cemetery (now known as Elmwood Cemetery) to her lot in Lakeview Cemetery. Lakeview cemetery records list William as the owner of this lot: it may have passed to him when hisparents died.
