Samuel Rath
Samuel was born May 16, 1863 to Jacob and Anna Maria Mehne Rath. He was the seventh of eleven sons born to this couple.
He moved to Nebraska with his parents and brothers, settling in the Wood Lake area, where he was a farmer.
In 1906, he married Anna Herrick, they had one daughter, Mildred H. Rath (1907-1998). Mildred died in Sun City, Arizona.
Samuel died April 1, 1940 and is buried in Wood Lake, Nebraska.
