Mrs. Lane died at 10:15 a.m. Thursday in a local hospital after a long illness.
Born Nov. 21, 1906 in Summers County, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Jane Meadows Harvey.
Mrs. Lane was a resident most of her life in Summers County, and a member of the Greenbrier Primitive Baptist Church at Hilldale.
Survivors include one son, Lacy of Shady Springs and two daughters, Mrs. Clayton (Uthlee) Lester of Montgomery, and Mrs. Mike (Remantha) Bennett of Shady Spring; two brothers, Youell Harvey of Titusville, Fla. and Woodrow Harvey of Pence Springs; five sisters, Faye Workman of Hot Springs, Ark., Mrs. Edith Keffer and Mrs. Nora Davis both of Hinton, Mrs. Cassie Murphy of Roanoke, Va., Mrs. Selma Martin of Lewisburg; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
